Sinus allergy

Allergy is a disease of the immune system, which is a kind of hypersensitivity reaction. Allergic reactions are usually harmless environmental substances known as allergens these reactions are acquired, predictable and fast. Strictly, allergy is one of four forms of hypersensitivity and is called type I (or immediate) hypersensitivity. E  and characterized by excessive activation of certain white blood cells called mast cells and basophils kind of IgE is known, when the extreme inflammatory reaction. Common allergic reactions are eczema, hives, hay fever, asthma, food allergies, and toxic reactions to stinging insects like wasps and bees.

Some mild allergies as hay fever are widespread in human population and cause symptoms such as allergic conjunctivitis, itchy and runny nose. Allergies can play a role in diseases such as asthma. In some people, severe allergies to environmental allergens or food or drugs can cause potentially fatal anaphylactic reactions.

Pathophysiology of allergic reactions can be divided into two phases. The first is an acute reaction that occurs immediately after exposure to an allergen. This phase can reduce or progress in a reaction "late phase", which could lead to significantly prolong the symptoms of a reaction and cause tissue damage. The proteins have unique properties that allow them to become allergens. Specifically forces to stabilize the tertiary and quaternary structure of proteins resistant to degradation. Thereafter they interact poorly with IgE immune system cells.

Most of the potentially allergenic proteins can not survive in the environment destroys the digestive system and others are harmless, but they have a solid structure to withstand the acidic environment of the digestive system and are sometimes marked by the immune system as harmful. In other reactions, toxins bind to a protein present. The immune system sees the protein as harmful to the body, and rejects the protein, causing a skin reaction or systemic.

Even if everyone in environment can cause allergic problems all year, most sinus allergies occur most often in spring, late summer and early autumn. During this time, the air is dry and free of moisture and is the right time airborne particles such as pollen in the air stream, and ragweed. That’s why this time is very critical for allergic diseases. Finally, these allergies usually start because of winter frost, etc.
