TREAT  ALLERGIES

Recently there have been enormous improvements in medical practice, used to treat allergic diseases. With regard to anaphylaxis and hypersensitivity reactions to foods, medicines, insects, and allergic skin diseases, progress has included the identification of dietary protein that IgE is associated with severe reactions and development of foods low in allergens, improving predictions prick tests, assessment of atopy skin tests wasp stings and the expected performance of a fast-dissolving tablet adrenaline and anti-IL-5 eosinophilic diseases.

MEDICATION   ( PHARMACOTHERAPY )
Medicine can not cure your allergy, but can be used to treat allergy symptoms such as runny nose, mouth itching and sneezing. Most treatments are available over the counter, but always ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice before taking any medication.

There are several antagonistic drugs are used to block the effects of allergic mediators, or to prevent the activation of cells and degranulation processes. These include the antihistamines, corticosteroids, epinephrine (adrenaline), theophylline and cromolyn sodium. Anti-leukotrienes, such as montelukast (Singulair) or zafirlukast (Accolate) is approved by the FDA for the treatment of allergic diseases. Anticholinergics, decongestants, mast cell stabilizers, and other compounds are thought to affect the chemotaxis of eosinophils, are frequently used. These medications help to relieve allergy symptoms, and is a prerequisite for the recovery of acute anaphylaxis, but play a minor role in the chronic treatment of allergic disorders.
  • ANTIHISTAMINE

Antihistamines treat allergies by blocking the action of histamine chemicals ,the body releases when it thinks , is attacked by an allergen. Antihistamines can be taken as tablets, cream or liquid form or as eye drops or nasal spray. Nasal Spray can be used to reduce swelling and irritation of nose and eye drops can help relieve pain,  and itchy eyes. A few sprays and drops is for adults, so always ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before buying treatments for yourself or your children.
  • DECONGESTANTS

Decongestants  can help in  relieving  stuffy nose, which is often caused by hay fever, allergies or dust allergies to animals. Decongestants can be taken as tablets, capsules, nasal sprays or liquids.
  • LEUKOTRIENES RECEPTOR ANTAGONISTS

Receptor antagonists Leukotrienes are pills that can block the effects of leukotrienes, chemicals released in an allergic reaction that causes inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Used to treat asthma if other treatments have failed.
